Meet the Founder
Hi. I’m Francine.
Since 1997, my career has been dedicated to education, with nearly three decades spent inside K–12 schools as a classroom teacher, a literacy director, and the head of academics for a school system. I’ve also served as a Director of Literacy and Coordinator of MTSS and RtI. I’ve sat where you’re sitting. I know what it feels like to be responsible for students’ reading growth and feel like the training you received didn’t fully prepare you for what you’re seeing in front of you.
I also know what it feels like when it finally clicks — for the teacher and for the child.
EA Literacy and Learning exists because every teacher deserves to have that experience. I hold a Doctorate in Reading and Literacy and am a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist — but what I’m most proud of is being able to take what the research says and make it make sense for the people who actually need it: you.
